HK Physics was founded by Kael Hanson, PhD in particle physics. We apply our
skills, acquired over the past decades, to a variety of technically
challenging problems in the academic, industrial, and governmental sectors.
With solutions ranging from software simulation to development of
high-reliability electronics for deployment in extreme environments, we
approach problems with a creative mindset, and clearly
define project metrics and timescales to arrive at the goal.
Kael Hanson, Ph.D., Partner HK Physics
Kael Hanson is founder and partner of HK Physics. He graduated from the
University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2000 with a Ph.D. in experimental
particle astrophysics. His experience since then includes more than a
decade of engineering team leadership with the
IceCube Neutrino Observatory
at the South Pole where he directed the optical sensor and data acquisition
